Global transporter reveals intent to provide more services for clients this year

UCARGO, the international freight forwarder, has reflected on its successes through a challenging 2021, as well as looking forward towards future opportunities it will deliver on this year.

The award-winning logistics specialist provides transport organisation for the events and amusement industries. UCARGO combines a global workforce network with its knowledge and expertise to deliver a full-scale service for customers.

Its services are used by both permanent and temporary attractions such as carnivals and festivals for the movement of amusement equipment, as well as managing event logistics aspects such as shipping and haulage.

Global expansion

The firm says it has plenty of exciting developments which will happen over the next few months, resulting in company growth.

UCARGO opened its latest office in New Jersey, US at the end of last year to help it expand its influence in the US entertainment market. Negotiating obstacles

UCARGO has also been a recent finalist in the Project Forwarding category for the British International Freight Association (BIFA) Awards.

Although the firm did not win, the project it entered was one of UCARGO’s largest to date. The company was tasked with procuring and manufacturing over seven hundred contains to spec. Logistics included shipment from the Middle East to the UK for loading, before being transported to Continental Europe. UCARGO was able to successfully negotiate around timely issues such as Britain exiting the European Union and the global COVID-19 pandemic.

A UCARGO representative says “UCARGO is quickly growing. The event industry is re-opening after a lull, and we have done everything we can to be ready for the needs of the industry.”

Projects for the firm have included the Hong Kong Carnival, Riyadh Carnival and the dismantling of Merlin Entertainments‘ Jurassic Skyline Tower.
