Now open at Universal Studios Florida, the new Summer Tribute Store puts guests in a 1980s-style cinema.

Universal Orlando Resort has launched the latest edition of its Summer Tribute Store, celebrating Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Jaws and Back to the Future.

Now open at Universal Studios Florida, the pop-up shop puts guests in a 1980s-style cinema where popular scenes from retro blockbusters are brought to life within four themed rooms, offering immersive decor and dedicated merchandise.

Visitors can step inside Elliott’s bedroom in the E.T.-themed room, with guests able to buy toys, games and apparel, including the famous red hoodie. Also on offer are plush toys and pins that celebrate the upcoming 40th anniversary of the film’s release.

Inspired by Quint’s shack, the Jaws-themed room is decorated with seaside props and includes a variety of t-shirts, bags and tumblers based on the classic film. It is also selling retro products that pay tribute to Universal’s Jaws attraction.

The Back to the Future room takes visitors back in time to Doc’s gadget-filled garage, home to t-shirts featuring glow-in-the-dark designs, collectible toys and ‘OUTATIME’ license plates.

The final room in the Summer Tribute Store resembles a cinema concession stand and is home to E.T., Jaws and Back to the Future merchandise, as well as products from other Universal Pictures films such as Jurassic Park, and themed treats and snacks.

The Summer Tribute Store is located in the New York area of Universal Studios Florida. The All Hallows Eve Boutique is another themed retail outlet at Universal’s Islands of Adventure that “blends the classic Universal Monsters with Hawaiian vacation flare”, according to a release.

Speaking of which, Universal Pictures’ most infamous horror icons are joining forces for the first time ever during this year’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort.

Dracula, The Wolf Man and The Mummy will unite in the new ‘Universal Monsters: Legends Collide’ haunted houses.
