Leading audio visual specialist, Alcorn McBride, has supplied A/V, show control and lighting equipment to the newly opened Wanda Cultural Tourism City in China.
The company’s products feature in the Flying Theatre and Interactive Theatre at the Wanda Movie Park and in the Domed Theatre at the Wanda Aquarium.
Technology partner, Wincomm, who provided the delivery and installation services, had previously chosen Alcorn McBride gear for the Wanda Movie Park in Wuhan owing to its ease of use, stability and reliability.
The Flying Theatre uses two Alcorn McBride V16Pro show controllers and two ShowTouch 10 touch panels in its two main halls as well as a A/V Binloop HD and an Alcorn McBride 8TraXX in the pre-show and queue areas.
The Interactive Theatre – a dark ride with multiple 3D interactive shooting games – employs V16Pro to control audio, video, lighting, projectors and monitors in the attraction and communicates with the games’ shooting system.
Another V16Pro controls a variety of laser projectors and media playback servers in the The Domed Theatre which features a 360º 12-metre screen that delivers panoramic views of deep-sea exploration.
The Wanda Cultural Tourism City occupies 2 square kilometres in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province in eastern China and is predicted to attract ten million visitors annually. The complex includes the Wanda Nanchang Theme Park, a movie park, aquarium, hotels and retail outlets.
