New product launches abounded at the opening day of the Dubai Entertainment, Amusement and Leisure (DEAL) exhibition yesterday.

New-to-market products and services are being showcased at the industry gathering, being held in The Arena at the Dubai World Trade Centre until Wednesday, April 6.
“The opening day of the show was a whirr of activity with a record number of visitors through the doors. They were rewarded with a host of new product launches, from redemption games to simulators, showing that DEAL is seen as the platform for defining the future of the Middle East’s amusements industry, ” said Abdul Rahman Falaknaz, Chairman of International Expo-Consults (IEC), organiser of DEAL.
Trans-Force celebrated the global launch of its revolutionary new 5D simulator at DEAL yesterday. The 5D interactive simulator is a unique interactive audience experience featuring the most advanced, state-of-the-art simulation technology.
The Trans-Force 5D comes in a four-seat spaceship shuttle design. The capsule offers a 3D stereoscopy screen, 3DOF platform with incline angles of 20-40°, and individual joysticks.
“The leisure industry in the Middle East is one of the most promising in the world. Attraction venues – from family entertainment centres, to water and theme parks, heritage centres, museums and zoos – demonstrate interest in innovative and hi-tech products, and this is where Trans-Force has a lot of expertise and experience, ” said Irina Ostroumova, Marketing Director, Trans-Force.
Luca SRL from Italy presented its latest product line in pinball machines. The company specialises in redemption machines, vending machines, kids rides and pinball machines.
“We are presenting a new pinball machine called ‘Casino Roulette’, ” explained Luca Serafin, President for Luca.
“The DEAL exhibition provides a good opportunity and starting point for us working with the Middle East as we don’t have any business relationships ‘till now with this region. We think we can offer products, such as our pinball machines, that could be very interesting for amusement centres in the Middle East, ” he added.
Casino Roulette is a flipper game with six play modes. Luca SRL is also showcasing a number of redemption games, such as Daytona Racing, Go Goal and Airplane.
Al Renaina Vending presented its new U-Turn vending machine yesterday. The Al Ain company supplies vending machines and services throughout the UAE.
“The region’s leisure industry is developing all the time, and I expect it to grow more in the future, ” said Muna Al Dhaheri, Managing Director, Al Renaina Vending.
DEAL 2011 will welcome some of the amusement industry’s leaders, with regional and global names such as Amusement Services International (ASI), Falgas Industries, Rainbow Productions, Zamperla Middle East and Warehouse of Games. Brand names on display will include SEGA, Triotech, Magnetic Cash, Simuline and Cogan. In total, more than 200 exhibitors from more than 30 countries are participating.
