Six Flags Magic Mountain has announced the opening of Thomas Town(SM), a newly created children’s area based on the popular Thomas & Friends brand.
This exciting play area is designed to entertain children of all ages and is centered around a train ride on a Thomas the Tank Engine replica that takes guests on a journey through Thomas’ mythical home on the Island of Sodor. The area also includes a Percy roller coaster and Cranky the Crane interactive water play area. Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway, is on hand to pose for photos and greet visitors. A Thomas & Friends store located within the play area will feature an assortment of merchandise, including the popular Thomas & Friends die cast trains; adult and children’s apparel; storybooks; and other items.

The opening of Thomas Town marks the beginning of a summer long series of exciting new events at Six Flags Magic Mountain. On June 14, the new CSI LIVE! stage show debuts. Based on the top-rated CBS television series, audience members join the adventure as our CSI forensic team investigates the evidence, examines the clues and solves the mystery. On July 5, a series of 14 weekend concerts will begin with various performers appealing to all ages such as Lupillo Rivera, Colby O’Donis and Hawk Nelson. Additionally, Sunday Rocks! presented by DanceDanceRevolution®, will feature performances by Mario, Menudo and Raven among others.
