Sharon O’Donnell becomes 75 Millionth Visitor and Kicks Off a Month Long Celebration in September

Little did Sharon O’Donnell realize that when she visited Hershey’s Chocolate World(R) attraction, she would become part of history! As Sharon exited Hershey’s Great American Chocolate Tour(R) ride, she was designated as the 75 millionth visitor to the attraction. As the 75 millionth visitor, Sharon received a prize pack valued over $1, 500, including a year’s worth of Hershey’s(R) candy, a five pound Hershey’s milk chocolate bar and tickets to various Hershey’s Chocolate World attractions, such as Hershey’s Really Big 3D Show(TM) attraction and Hershey’s(R) Chocolate Tasting Adventure.

Although Sharon O’Donnell was the official 75 millionth visitor, all visitors can be a part of this monumental occasion! Hershey’s Chocolate World will be celebrating this historic milestone by hosting a month-long celebration in September, and would like to show its appreciation to all 75 million visitors who have helped reach this landmark with activities, promotions and special savings throughout the entire month.

Since opening on June 30, 1973, Hershey’s Chocolate World has been immersing visitors in sweet moments of Hershey’s happiness everyday and is the most visited corporate visitors’ center in the world – with now nearly three million visitors annually. "Welcoming 75 million visitors is such a meaningful high point for us, " said Lael Moynihan, Director of Hershey Retail Attractions.
