Amusement Parks: Talisman to Deliver Real-time Intelligence and Measurement of Mobile Marketing Campaigns at Amusement Parks and Attractions

Ltd, (www.rfidnprint.com.au) of New South Wales, Australia, announced the formation of Talisman (www.talismanrewards.com), a new business focused on delivering real-time business intelligence for brand rewards and mobile marketing at amusement parks and attractions in the leisure, entertainment and hospitality markets worldwide.

Details of the new Talisman service, including a new product demonstration, will be revealed at a press conference at 10 am PST, Wednesday, Nov 18, 2009 at the 4ID Solutions booth #1059 at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) tradeshow, Nov. 16 — 20, 2009, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Talisman will describe how its new service will help amusement park operators and their affiliated partners grow their business, brands and revenues and elevate the guest to an interactive brand relationship.

Headquartered in Las Vegas, Talisman is led by John Keast, co-founder and president, and Cindy McNamara, co-founder and vice president of business development. They have collaborated with Bruce Hegan, founder and president of RFID n Print Pty. Ltd, a manufacturer specializing in RFID, bar-coded and imprinted wristbands, on the definition and delivery of the new Talisman service. The Talisman team brings more than 40 years of industry expertise to their collaboration.

According to the publication Amusement Business, 341 million people visited the 400 parks and attractions in the U.S. in 2007 generating $12 billion in revenue. There are approximately 300 amusement parks in Europe. In 2003, Europe’s top ten theme parks had 40 million visitors. Four of the world’s top ten most visited amusement parks are in Asia.
