Universal Studios Hollywood kicks off a season of summer fun with the new "6 Months for $60 Escape Pass, " offering Southern California residents unlimited admission and exceptional value at The Entertainment Capital of L.A. for a full six months from the date of first use.

Universal Studios Hollywood is providing good reasons for return visits this summer with the introduction of new special events, musical entertainment and enhanced attractions. For guests, there will be something new everywhere they look, and Universal Studios Hollywood’s "6 Months for $60 Escape Pass" pass will provide exceptional value for Southern Californians seeking an entire summer of cost effective entertainment for the whole family.

Among the new attractions, "The Creature from the Black Lagoon–a Raging Rockin’ Show, " will light up the stage beginning July 1 with all-original songs, spectacular stage effects and Broadway-level production values.

Beginning mid-June, the enhanced Studio Tour, newly equipped with state-of-the-art HD monitors and a digital playback system will become "mobile movie theatres" as the signature attraction rolls through new film sets and locations, reconstructed to filmmakers’ specifications after a fire damaged a backlot section last year. The locations are already buzzing with motion picture production activity.

The long-awaited "The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, " has begun production on a newly renovated sound stage located on the Universal Studios lot. The Studio Tour will offer guests a close-up view of the new stage during non-production days. And Emmy(TM) Award-winning host Conan O’Brien has added his off-beat commentary to the Studio Tour.

At the heart of the "6 Months for $60 Escape Pass" is the unlimited access to some of the theme park’s most popular thrill rides, including "The Revenge of the Mummy–The Ride, " "Jurassic Park–The Ride" and enormously popular "The Simpsons Ride, " which celebrates its one year anniversary and the 20th anniversary of its TV debut with a "Simpsons Summer Celebration" event that will be capture the spirit of Springfield and the carnival atmosphere of Krusty the Klown with daily festivities.

The "6 Months for $60 Escape Pass" can be purchased online at www.UniversalStudiosHollywood.com or at the Universal Studios Hollywood ticket booths. This is a Special Offer for Southern California Residents. Tickets are valid for six months from date of first use for Southern California residents only within ZIP codes 90000-93599 and are limited to six tickets per purchase. Proof of residency will be verified at the Front Gate. Blackout dates and restrictions will apply.
