Conference and Trade Show Scheduled for June 21-24 at Resorts World® Sentosa

The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) announced Asian Attractions Expo 2011 will be held at the convention center at Singapore’s new destination resort, Resorts World Sentosa, from June 21-24. Asian Attractions Expo is the premier conference and trade show for the attractions industry in Asia.

Attractions Industry Leaders, Operators, and Suppliers Meet and Conduct Serious Business at Asian Attractions Expo

Asian Attractions Expo is the leading event for the multibillion-dollar leisure and attractions industry in Asia. Organizers anticipate more than 3, 000 professionals from 40 countries will participate in the event. Owners and managers representing amusement and theme parks, waterparks, zoos, aquariums, museums, science centers, family entertainment centers, casinos, and resorts will develop and purchase new attractions and products for their facilities, see what’s new in the industry, learn about industry best practices, and network with colleagues.

More than 200 exhibitors from 25 countries will showcase innovative products and services in nearly 100 product categories, including amusement and theme park rides; architectural and design services; coin-operated games, skill games, and redemption prizes; theatrical productions; maintenance services and equipment; and more.

The four-day event will also feature educational programs, keynote speeches by industry leaders, and networking events.

Singapore Is a Must-See Destination for Attractions Industry Leaders

Singapore has been ranked as the “Top Convention City in Asia” by the Union of International Associations for more than 20 years. During their visit to Singapore, Asian Attractions Expo participants will experience the amazing culture, state-of-the-art attractions, energetic nightlife, and first-class convention facilities in this dynamic world-class travel destination. Before and after the Expo, participants can experience the new Universal Studios Singapore; visit the city’s museums, performing arts centers, and botanic gardens; relax and unwind in luxurious spas; enjoy breathtaking views of Marina Bay from the “Singapore Flyer” observation wheel; and learn the fascinating story behind the Maritime Silk Route and Singapore’s shipping port at Resorts World Sentosa’s new Maritime Xperiental Museum.

Asian Attractions Expo is an event for attractions industry professionals. It is not open to the general public.
