News

On Good Friday and Easter Saturday, Pembrokeshire attraction Folly Farm hosted their first ever licensed character event; Peppa Pig and George made a number of personal appearances on-site at the farm attraction.

Peppa and George’s visit was a huge success, as Folly Farm’s PR & Marketing Manager, Zoë Wright, comments:

“An amazing weekend; we smashed the all time visitor record by 32% on Good Friday with close to 7500 visitors! We had nearly 13, 500 visitors on both days and the whole event went very well!”

Although this event was Folly Farm’s debut character appearance, Rainbow Productions has previously worked with the attraction: at the start of the year the company was commissioned to bring to life the farm’s mascot, Henry Horse.

Following on from the success of Folly Farm booking their debut character appearances, five more licensed character events are scheduled for the summer.  Every week in August will see Rainbow Productions deliver character entertainment to the attraction for their guests to enjoy, namely visits from Fifi Forget-Me- Not and Bumble on the 2nd and 3rd; Fireman Sam on 9th & 10th; a return visit by Peppa Pig and George on 16th & 17th; Roary the Racing Car and Big Chris on 23rd & 24th plus Thomas the Tank Engine and The Fat Controller on 29th & 30th.
