VidantaWorld's BON, the world's first luxury theme park, has soft opened to guests staying at the VidantaWorld Nuevo Vallarta destination in Mexico.

VidantaWorld's Beauty of Nature (BON), which began its soft opening for resort guests on 24 October, combines the excitement of a theme park with the comfort and hospitality of a luxury destination.

Opening to the public in April 2027, the $1.5 billion park features world-class attractions, immersive worlds, original stories, and elevated dining.

"For decades, theme parks have taught us to think in terms of more attractions, more people and more rush," said Iván Chávez, executive vice president of Grupo Vidanta.

"With BON we wanted to propose something different: more space, more time, more service and the freedom to experience everything at your own pace," he added.

"That is our way of understanding luxury, and we believe it can open an entirely new category for the industry."

When it's fully open, BON will feature more than 20 attractions across seven themed worlds. From now through 2027, the park will continue to unveil and launch new attractions and experiences.

In December, for example, it will open the Arc of Guardians, Marivela Wonder Gliders, Floranova Spin and Izari's Flight rides.

The park's attractions have been developed by a team of themed entertainment leaders, including Intamin, Zamperla, Vekoma, Zierer and Brogent.

Cirque du Soleil's LUDÕ, which combines live performance, visual storytelling and gastronomy in a custom-built theatre, debuted in December 2025 at BON.

“What’s unique is that we want guests to enjoy the experience without feeling like they need a vacation from their vacation," Chávez told blooloop in a recent interview.

"We don’t want people to be exhausted or forced to choose between relaxation and entertainment. We want them to do both."

VidantaWorld has locations in Nuevo Vallarta and Riviera Maya.
