VidantaWorld's BON, the world's first luxury theme park, has set a soft opening date of 24 October ahead of its public launch in April 2027.

Located at the VidantaWorld Nuevo Vallarta destination in Mexico, VidantaWorld's Beauty of Nature (BON) will initially be available to resort guests.

The $1.5 billion park will combine world-class thrills, immersive worlds, original storytelling, dining and hospitality, and the natural beauty of Mexico.

"We set out to create the world's first luxury theme park and rethink what a theme park experience could be," said Ivan Chávez, executive vice president of Grupo Vidanta.

"BON brings together the excitement and imagination of a world-class theme park with the space, comfort, service and hospitality of a luxury destination.

"We want children, parents and grandparents to each find something extraordinary here – and to enjoy it together."

Designed as a multigenerational destination, BON will feature more than 20 attractions across its seven themed worlds, which will also offer restaurants, lounges and retail experiences.

At soft opening, five of BON's themed worlds will be available – Laguna Feliz, Celebration Lagoon, Crystal Star Plaza, Discovery Jungle and Adventure Valley.

Highlights in these zones include the Rise of Soluma, which carries a train along 372 meters of track, reaching 20 metres in height and speeds of 54 km/h.

Floresta Drop sends riders soaring 40 metres above the trees before offering a thrilling plunge, while Time Quest is a family-friendly spinning ride.

The park's attractions have been developed by a team of themed entertainment leaders, including Intamin, Zamperla, Vekoma, Zierer and Brogent.

Cirque du Soleil's LUDÕ, which combines live performance, visual storytelling and gastronomy in a custom-built theatre, premiered in December 2025 at BON.

VidantaWorld has locations in Nuevo Vallarta and Riviera Maya.
