Since 26th December 2008, when Dr Wolf Vierich, Chairman of The Vitala Group of Companies, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Thanh Nien Joint Stock Corporation for eight separate projects to be financed, the first of which, the Cam Ranh Eco Resort project, is nearing completion for project financing.
The Initial Outline Architectural Master Plan and all feasibility studies for this 184.94 hectare site (456.98 acres) have been completed by Vitala Group companies and the project value will be around US$ 110 million, to be financed by The Vitala Group.
This covers a 326 room convention hotel, an indoor/outdoor exotic swimming paradise, thermal hot springs, 276 apart
ments and condos, including 13 penthouses, a casino, 35 retail units, a market street, a small marina, and an electric go-kart track.
114 luxury villas are embedded within an 18-hole golf course and golf driving range.
Amongst the many leisure and sports facilities are: an amphitheatre, a sea life centre, an aviary and butterfly house, a multi-purpose sports academy, and a Family Entertainment Centre.
In addition, parking for over 2000 cars will be provided throughout the project site.
Project opening is forecast to be in December 2013.
