Family Entertainment: Hulsch and Günther of Brunswick receive Bowler of the Year honors!

News

Earlier this year German national team stars Tina Hulsch and Kai Güntehr, both Brunswick Regional Staff players, have been named Germany’s Bowlers of the Year 2008.

Based on a voting by Germany’s Bowling Union (DBU) officials and media representatives. Both have had tremendous success in 2008 on the national and international levels. Hulsch’s highlights include a gold medal in the Junior World Championships, silver in the Woman’s European Championships and the German Singles Championships title. Günther shined in the Men’s World Championships in Bangkok where he was stopped short of the gold medal by PBA star Walter Ray Williams jr. in a very tight final match decided in the very last frame.

Both players were recognized for their accomplishments at the Players Party during the German Championships and were presented with a Bowler of the Year 2008 plaque by DBU-President Roland Mück.
