IALEI members and non-members will come together from Sunday, January 27 toTuesday, January 29, 2008 in Orlando, Fla. for the 1st IALEI Region II Meeting. Attendees will travel from Alabama, D.C., Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and Puerto Rico to experience information-packed educational sessions, networking events and teambuilding opportunities.
This historic event will commence with a cocktail reception on Sunday night, sponsored by Sureshot at the Caribe Royale Hotel. There will also be tabletop displays throughout the meeting from sponsors and top industry vendors.
The meeting begins on Monday at 8:30 a.m. followed by these sessions:

9:30 a.m. – Marketing from the Inside Out – Beth Standlee
10:30 a.m. – Dealing with Problem Guests – Richard Sanfilippo
11:15 a.m. – On-site Inspections: How Do I Measure Up? – Ken Vondriska
1:00 p.m. – Birthday Parties: Thinking Outside the Box – Dorothy Lewis and Beth Standlee
1:45 p.m. – Investing in Your Future: Possible Anchors for Your Operations – Panel of Experts
2:45 p.m. – How to Add Affordable Profit Centres – Panel of Experts
4:30 p.m. – Corporate Ideas for Your Operations: Interactive/Hands-On Teambuilding Event at Fun Spot Action Park
After the teambuilding event, attendees can dine compliments of Intercard and learn how to implement the Code Adam program in their facilities with on-site training. Each attendee will receive a free copy of the Code Adam training kit to take back to their facility.
On Tuesday, two sessions will give industry professionals the chance to learn about “Insurance/Risk Management” at 8:30 a.m. with Ken Vondriska and experience the
“Southeast Legislative Summary” at 9:15 a.m. with Phil Slaggert and Richard Sanfilippo.
Tuesday’s itinery will also include roundtable sessions featuring hot topics on insurance, bowling, laser tag, sales, human resources, parties and redemption.
In addition to the seminars, a Certified Inflatable Safety Course and optional exam will be offered on Sunday, January 27, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. at the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando prior to the kick-off of the Region II Meeting. This course is $99 for IALEI members and $149 for non-members in addition to the cost of the Region II Meeting. Separate registration is required for this course. Conference attendees will receive a discounted rate of only $99 per night for a single or double at the Buena Vista Suites hotel, located adjacent to the Caribe Royale Hotel where all of the seminars will be held. Register by January 11, 2008 to get this special rate.
