It’s been quite a whirlwind year for Cincinnati businessman Jack Rouse.
First, the co-founder of Jack Rouse Associates (JRA), the globally known design and production firm specializing in guest experiences, was this year’s recipient of the Themed Entertainment Association’s (TEA) 2008 Thea Lifetime Achievement Award. Then word came that JRA is being featured on national TV as one of the best companies of its kind in the world…and now Rouse has been selected to join the USA Today CEO business advisory panel. In this capacity, Rouse will act as an information conduit for the nationwide daily newspaper’s business section on trends in the themed entertainment and aligned industries. And, all of this comes when JRA has never been busier, with state-of-the-art projects in the works around the globe, including projects in the United Kingdom, China, United Arab Emirates, and many other locations.
The USA Today business advisory panel is comprised of CEOs from around the country who advise the paper on industry and leadership trends. Rouse received the Thea Lifetime Achievement Award earlier this year at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California. The Thea Awards honor top designers, architects, technical artists and other themed entertainment industry leaders from Australia to Ireland.
“World’s Greatest…” on the ION television network, shot on location in JRA’s Cincinnati headquarters, will air this summer on national television, but
an exact air date as not yet been set. “World’s Greatest…” is a 30-minute show that tours around the world featuring behind-the-scenes footage and
interviews of some of the most unique companies, products, people and travel destinations in the world. JRA provides experiential design in the world of museums, zoos, theme parks, entertainment complexes, cultural venues, sports facilities, and corporate environment
