The Nassal Company has announced the addition of Dave Piper to its senior management team.

The Orlando-based firm is best known for providing immersive environments to the world of family attractions, serving virtually all leading theme parks and dozens of themed destinations around the world. Piper will lead the company’s emerging Museum Services group.

“More and more, the lines between entertainment and interpretive education are becoming blurred, ” says Nassal’s President/CEO Bill Nassal. “For better than a decade museum designers have been adapting their approach to engage audiences in new and different ways. Interactive museums, along with zoos and aquariums are some of the fastest growing parts of our business.”

Indeed, Nassal has been building an impressive portfolio in recent years with museum projects that include the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, Liberty Science Center and the Fernbank Museum of Natural History’s new Children’s Space.

Dave Piper comes to Nassal following fifteen years as Senior Vice President for Museums, Attractions and Environments with Sparks, a Philadelphia-headquartered international creative agency. His credits include museums, science centers, halls of fame, nature centers and corporate visitor centers. Piper is a recipient of many industry awards and is a sought after speaker on the topic of experience creation. His addition to The Nassal Company is intended to extend the company’s presence in the museum marketplace, making it the industry leader in exhibit engineering, fabrication and installation.
According to Robert Harris, founder of Cloud 8 Design, a design firm specializing in museums, “Dave is one of the industry’s out-of-the-box thinkers. He comes up with fresh ideas and new ways of connecting people with ideas. He is a great collaborator to have on a project. He will be an excellent addition to the Nassal team.”
