As happened at IAAPA at the end of last year, Pan Amusements’ Sideshow, a new compact 3-gun electronic shooting gallery, caused considerable interest at EAG Expo 2010 in London. The new game benefited from representation on three stands – Pan Amusements, Sega, who have the worldwide distribution rights outside the USA and AMG.
Sideshow boasts all the technology and play-value that Pan has built into its galleries for over 40 years. “It is definitely an amusement for current market conditions, ” says Pan’s Managing Director Paul Whittaker. “Operators have an eye for the smaller investment with a rapid pay-back that will retain its popularity over many years. Sideshow fits the bill perfectly and we made several sales.”
Pan also detected a higher interest than last year in its larger trademark standard and bespoke galleries in which it is the world’s leading manufacturer. “There were a number of good enquires and an interesting purchase from Italian distributor Farogames who intend to show the 8-gun Hillbilly on their stand at Enada Spring in Rimini, ” says Paul Whittaker.
“The popularity of Sideshow is giving us a great deal of belief that business is coming back after a couple of tough years, ” adds Paul Whittaker. “We recently invested in a new website www.panamusements.com which we hope will boost our presence worldwide.”
