Sideshow, the new compact electronic shooting gallery from world leaders Pan Amusements, continues to make a considerable impact. Launched in 2009, 76 galleries have been sold this year alone.
“We introduced Sideshow, based on the old carnival duck shoot, in response to requests from a number of customers who saw potential in a smaller model of our world leading galleries, ” says Pan Managing Director Paul Whittaker. “Given the economic conditions at the time which still go on to a degree, we expected it to be popular but it has exceeded all of our expectations. One of the keys to success is the very small payback time which can be a little as six months in a good location.”
There is no question that sales have had a considerable boost from Pan’s agreement for worldwide distribution with games specialist SEGA. “Our manufacturing experience plus SEGA’s sales expertise has proved to be an unbeatable combination, ” adds Paul Whittaker.
Sideshow has fourteen animated targets, all of which have sound effects with background music and there is ‘encourage to play’ speech. Other features include ticket redemption and electronic coin mechanisms. This is backed by Pan’s legendary play value, long life and great all round family fun.
