Simworx Announces New Middle East Office Following Dubai Show Success

News

Simworx continues to enjoy much success with its wide range of simulation and effects theatre attractions around the world and the DEAL show confirmed a high level of interest in the company’s products from many operators within the Middle East.

“The event was a huge success in terms of the number of serious inquiries we had, ” revealed Managing Director Terry Monkton. “In fact we generated an unprecedented level of interest considering we didn’t have any product physically on show. Compared to the last trade show we attended, in Europe, we increased genuine leads by almost 40 per cent which we were delighted with. I also made four sales visits during and after the event which is an indication of the levels of intention of the buyers attending the show.”
Visitors to the Simworx stand came from the Middle East and further afield, countries represented including Jordan, Egypt, Beirut, Qatar, Turkey, Romania, Germany and China, to name but a few. An equally wide range of attractions was also covered, these including theme parks, entertainment centres, museums and more.

“The show was particularly successful in bringing buyers to exhibitors, ” continued Monkton, “while we were also delighted to be the first company to be visited by Mr. Khalifa Bakhid Al Falasi, the Minister of State of the U.A.E., during his visit to the show, something that is a great honour in this part of the world.”

The success of the show capped a significant week for Simworx with the company also announcing the opening of a Dubai sales office. With many years’ experience in the attractions industry, this will be headed up by Paul Grinnall as the company’s Middle East sales representative, who will cover the entire region and report back to Monkton at the UK head office.

“This is an important strategic move for Simworx, ” Monkton noted. “We are working in many different parts of the world and the Middle East is one region in particular where I believe we can make a lot of progress. The strong interest shown in our product range at the recent DEAL show confirmed this and I’m sure the opening of our new office will enable us to take full advantage of the many opportunities that have presented themselves to us in the region.”
