News

Eventus, the leading national Hispanic experiential marketing, sports and entertainment company, announced that it has entered into a long-term comprehensive agreement with The Hispanic Heritage Baseball Museum Hall of Fame (HHBMHOF), the San Francisco-based non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing the contributions made to baseball by Hispanic players.

Eventus will utilize its expertise in developing marketing programs to create an experiential baseball platform and fundraising opportunities benefiting the HHBMHOF.

"I am so pleased to be working with the Hispanic Heritage Baseball Museum and Hall of Fame. It offers Eventus a wonderful opportunity to be able to do well by doing good, " stated Nelson Albareda, Eventus’ CEO & President. "It is high time that Hispanics are recognized properly for their contributions to America’s favorite past time; after all, Hispanics have been contributing to the sport well over one hundred years, and we look forward to helping HHBMHOF thrive, while preserving the history and influence that Hispanic players have had on the sport, " added Albareda.

The tag team collaboration between Eventus and the HHBMHOF will leverage the museum’s assets ranging from the Hall of Fame, plus hundreds of priceless Hispanic baseball memorabilia items, to a highly engaged board of directors and advisors consisting of many of the most recognized names in baseball. Backed by a multi-year agreement, the organizations will focus on developing revenue generating programs and products, including Hall of Fame induction ceremonies, traveling memorabilia exhibits, youth baseball clinics, athlete endorsements and multi-media properties.

"We are very pleased to be working with Eventus, " said Gabriel "Tito" Avila, founder and president of The Hispanic Heritage Baseball Museum Hall of Fame. "It is important to highlight the achievements of Hispanic baseball players on and off the field in order to set an example for our youth. We are committed to uphold the legacy of Hispanics’ contributions to the great game of baseball and we look forward to collaborating with Eventus to continue our mission, " added Avila.
