All summer long at Six Flags Magic Mountain, Del Taco is giving its Raving Fans an exclusive thrill — the chance to become part of the X2 Late Night Crew, where they will ride the park’s most extreme and thrilling ride, X2, after hours on Friday nights throughout the summer.
Launched in 2007, Six Flags Magic Mountain’s X2 sends riders screaming around a 3, 600-foot maze of steel track in massive wing-shaped trains. The train’s seats extend off track, allowing riders to independently rotate head over heels, forward and backward creating a one-of-a-kind "don’t-know-what-to-expect-next" sensation.
After signing up for Del Taco’s Raving Fan e-Club at (www.deltaco.com/x2), members will receive an e-mail certificate redeemable for a wristband at the park that allows exclusive after-hours admission to X2. Existing members of the Raving Fan e-club will receive an e-mail notice about the exclusive offer including how to get their e-mail certificate.
Del Taco has enlisted the help of social-media phenom Kevin Wu, a.k.a. KevJumba, a college student who has attracted more than a half-million followers on YouTube, to help spread the word about the X2 Late Night Crew. Fans can meet KevJumba at Six Flags Magic Mountain on Friday, July 31, when he will be riding X2 after park hours. In addition, after the Del Taco Raving Fans exclusive ride time on the 31st, the party will continue at the Del Taco location adjacent to the park at 28082 The Old Road, Valencia, where VIP wristbands will be redeemable for a free Classic Taco.
