Theme parks: Ferrari World Abu Dhabi opens its doors to the public tomorrow night

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, the world’s largest indoor theme park, opens its doors to the public tomorrow night, 27 October 2010.

Starting from 5pm, guests will be introduced to the passionate, colorful world of the Ferrari ‘Tifosi’, the devoted Scuderia fans, with lots of entertainment and giveaways in store for families and fans adding to the anticipation of the long awaited opening moment of the world’s first Ferrari theme park.
   
Opening festivities will peak at 7 o’clock with an Opening ceremony which will take place in the centre of the Park in front of one of the signature rides, the G-Force, after which the Park will be declared open, giving guests a chance to experience a variety of rides and attractions designed to bring to life the Ferrari story. Festivities will continue throughout the evening with many outstanding shows and acts which will complement the unforgettable experience guests will enjoy on opening night.

”The waiting is over, now it’s time to immerse yourself in the world of Ferrari, ” said Andy Keeling (left), Park Manager, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. “October 27th is a key milestone in the entertainment calendar as we welcome our first guests into the Park. The additional bespoke Ferrari World Abu Dhabi entertainment, customized t-shirts, wigs and face painting will get people in the right spirit and generate the passion shown by Ferrari fans all around the world.”  
Claus Frimand (far left), General Manager, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi said, “I know I speak for the whole team at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi when I say we are very enthusiastic to finally be able to share the thrill and excitement of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi with the public. We hope our guests will enjoy being first to experience the legendary Ferrari passion, history and culture through our rides and attractions in what promises to be an unforgettable evening.”

Guests are recommended to arrive early for the Opening Day celebration. Tickets can be purchased on arrival.

Ticket prices range from AED 225 for guests above 1.5m, and AED 165 for guests below 1.5m. Guests can upgrade their experience with a Premium Ticket, which will give them priority on all attractions and access to an exclusive lounge with refreshments, as well as other benefits. Premium Tickets cost AED 375 for guests above 1.5m and AED 270 for guests below 1.5m. All tickets provide unlimited use of rides and attractions inside Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. The Park will be operating on a six-day a week schedule from Tuesday to Sunday, welcoming visitors from 12 noon each day.
