Themed Entertainment: Utopia Entertainment Is Awarded Design & Production of Beverly Hills Holiday Lighting Ceremony, Decor & Entertainment for Fourth Consecutive Year Blooloop

For the fourth year in a row Utopia Entertainment has been awarded the contract to design, produce and manage “Deck the Hills” holiday décor and entertainment program for the City of Beverly Hills.

In addition to producing this popular city-wide event, Utopia has once again been selected to produce the UNICEF Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony on November 21, 2009. The event is staged each year upon legendary Rodeo Drive, in the heart of the Beverly Hills’ golden triangle district and will feature live entertainment, and a multitude of family-friendly activities. What has quickly become a must-see main attraction for the event, an amazing fireworks grand finale show will cap off the evening’s festivities! The spectacular pyrotechnic display, (completely choreographed to holiday music), will be launched from the rooftop of the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel and can be seen up and down Rodeo Drive.

Continuing from last year, the city will have hundreds of thousands of holiday lights, 500 NEW colorful banners, a wireless audio system deliv ering smooth Yuletide tunes and holiday décor glimm ering amongst the palm trees and world class luxury stores.

Selected buildings will be draped with enormous red bows, palm trees will be wrapped in miniature lights, and Santa (with his sleigh and reindeer) will be suspended high above the corner of Wilshire and South Beverly Drive. Utopia is also looking forward to working with UNICEF to create a more family-orientated Lighting Ceremony with local school choirs and tons of kids activities.

“Deck the Hills” will run from November 20 to January 2, with the Annual Lighting Ceremony on November 21. Utopia looks forward to celebrating the season with Beverly Hills in years to come.
