This summer, Calypso expanded its already successful waterpark with its newest attraction The Summit Tower, a 90 foot (28 meter) tower featuring 10 new waterslide attractions – all designed, engineered, manufactured and installed by WhiteWater.
When Sylvain Lauzon, Calypso’s Executive Vice President, recently rode one of the four 90 foot high speed Accelerators (see image above) he told us “This is the most thrilling ride I’ve taken on a waterslide yet!”
The Summit Tower, now officially the tallest free-standing waterslide tower in North America, also features two iconic AquaLoopsTM (see image above) – the first dueling AquaLoopsTM in the world intertwined to form a waterslide pretzel!
“WhiteWater is a proud Canadian company, so it is a great accomplishment for us to have been integral in the creation of Calypso Waterpark- not only the nation’s best – but now the world’s best waterpark according to a prestigious source like MSN Travel!” Says Geoff Chutter, WhiteWater’s CEO. “2011 has been an exciting year for WhiteWater as we’re celebrating our 30th year anniversary and this announcement makes it that much better”.
