Calypso Waterpark, near Ottawa, Canada, is making splashy headlines internationally for recently being named World’s Best Waterpark by MSN Travel! Calypso outshone Schillerbahn Waterpark, which has a long-standing reputation for being the World’s Best Waterpark.

This summer, Calypso expanded its already successful waterpark with its newest attraction The Summit Tower, a 90 foot (28 meter) tower featuring 10 new waterslide attractions – all designed, engineered, manufactured and installed by WhiteWater.
When Sylvain Lauzon, Calypso’s Executive Vice President, recently rode one of the four 90 foot high speed Accelerators (see image above) he told us “This is the most thrilling ride I’ve taken on a waterslide yet!”
The Summit Tower, now officially the tallest free-standing waterslide tower in North America, also features two iconic AquaLoopsTM (see image above) – the first dueling AquaLoopsTM in the world intertwined to form a waterslide pretzel!
