Universal Rocks, an expert in planning, building, and developing themed areas that reproduce the beauty of nature, contributed to the creation and opening of more than 15 projects across Europe in 2025.

Standout projects the team worked on include the Berlin façade, the Wuze restaurant and splash zone at Phantasialand in Germany; the hotel & restaurant, Niglo House, and Papillons at Nigloland in France; and the Souk restaurant and Cétautomatix attraction at Parc Astérix in France.

Meanwhile, at Europa-Park in Germany, the company contributed to Poseidon's rehab and new elements for the Rulantica water park, as well as additions to Kronasar Lake, the Nordhavn swimming pool, and Camp Resort.

For Fantasiana in Austria, Universal Rocks worked on the Helios coaster and the surrounding Sonnenbucht themed area.

The team also helped deliver grotto and bedroom pieces for the Les Ducs de Savoie hotel in Courchevel, France; themed work for the Braus & Saus coaster at Potts Park, Germany; a giant tree for Futuroscope; and several benches across Parc du Bocasse in France.

In addition, several other projects remain confidential or will open in 2026.

A skilled team

These projects were realised through the trust of the company's clients and partners, as well as the work of its skilled artists.

In 2025, Universal Rocks continued to enhance its expertise. It expresses pride in having developed and refined its skills across all projects, providing immersive themed environments with meticulous attention to detail.

Universal Rocks showcases its expertise and high quality in the themed entertainment sector by blending technical expertise, innovative approaches, and collaborative partnerships to deliver transformative experiences for clients and their audiences.

Dirk Engelhardt, area sales manager & Europa-Park theming partner at Mack Rides / Engelhardt GmbH, says: “I think the most important thing for me is that Universal Rocks works at a very high level of sculpting quality.

"All the sculptors I know from Universal Rocks have great skills. They really understand how to carve rock, how to work with stone, and how to handle façades. Because of the variety of expertise that the owners of Universal Rocks know among their team, they can assign the right people to the right tasks.

"One is skilled in wood carving, another excels in façades, another in rock work. I think this ability to pick and assign the right people on site is a major advantage and a key factor in ensuring high quality.”

Team will continue to deliver excellence in 2026

Helder Lopes, CEO of Universal Rocks, says: “2025 has been an exciting year for Universal Rocks, contributing to more than fifteen projects across Europe.

"We are proud to continue strengthening our expertise and to develop our skills on every project, working hand in hand with our clients, partners, and talented artists to bring immersive themed environments to life.

"As we welcome 2026, we are excited to continue our ongoing projects, delivering solutions and creative excellence throughout the year ahead.”
