Victoria Hollows
Chief Executive
OneRen
Victoria Hollows is chief executive of OneRen, the charitable trust responsible for culture, leisure, libraries, sport and major heritage projects across Renfrewshire.
She leads the organisation’s museums, arts venues, libraries, leisure centres and community services, working to improve health, wellbeing and life opportunities through culture and participation. In partnership with Renfrewshire Council, she also leads the Future Paisley programme, which uses the town's internationally significant cultural assets to drive economic regeneration and place-making.
Before joining OneRen, Hollows built a national reputation as a museum leader at Glasgow's Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA). There, she pioneered socially engaged museum practice and established the gallery as an international leader in using museums to advance social justice, human rights and civic participation.
She later served as director of collections, public programmes and learning at York Museums Trust, overseeing the organisation’s museums, collections, exhibitions, learning and public engagement.
At OneRen, Hollows has led a period of significant transformation. This has included rebranding Renfrewshire Leisure as OneRen, building new partnerships across health, education and culture, and delivering one of Scotland's most ambitious cultural regeneration programmes.
She has also played a leading role in the £68.7 million redevelopment of Paisley Museum, alongside the renewal of Paisley Town Hall, Paisley Arts Centre and Paisley Central Library, placing culture at the heart of the town's economic and social renewal.
