Calvados Experience - Normandy, France

Set on the site of France’s oldest and most famous distillery, Sarner has designed and built a world-class visitor attraction that immerses the audience in a multi-sensory journey through the centuries, from Vikings to the present day. Visitors discover the ancient and mysterious techniques that transform apples into Calvados and walk from the region’s orchards through to the World of Calvados, which shows the spread of this special, luxury French drink all over the world. This unique experience culminates in an exquisite tasting and a rare opportunity to buy from the best collection of Calvados brands ever presented in one place. This exciting 3 year project, led by our Creative Director Mike Bennett, has been designed to welcome and facilitate large groups as well as individual visitors and families alike.
