Aquatic Development Group (ADG), a leading water park and recreational design, construction, and manufacturing firm, has announced that it will be designing and building water features for Roaring Springs waterpark in Meridian, Idaho.
In addition to providing Roaring Springs with assistance in the development of the expansion plan, ADG has been chosen as the design/build partner for new water features at the park. The project will see Roaring Springs grow its footprint by 40% and is the biggest expansion in its 20-year history.
The seven planned phases of the expansion will be built over the next 10-15 years.
First phase includes wave pool and action river
The first phase of the Roaring Springs waterpark expansion project will see the addition of a wave pool with a zero-depth entry beach, a water playground and an activity pool with water basketball and crossing. A new UV filtration system will also be added, in addition to a new bar and grill, 16 luxury cabanas and more parking.
“Our leadership team has visited waterparks all around the world, and we’re excited to bring some the highest quality, most fun water rides to Idaho,” says Roaring Springs CEO, Pat Morandi.
“This expansion will make Roaring Springs one of the largest waterparks in the US, provide outstanding entertainment for families, and create jobs for both young adults and professionals. All of this is made possible by the long-time valued support of our community, and our tremendous partnership with the City of Meridian.”
The first phase is expected to open in the summer of 2023.
