WhiteWater receives Best Managed Companies 2022 Gold Standard

Presented by Deloitte, Gold Standard is given to companies that have maintained multi-year best-managed status

WhiteWater, a leading waterpark manufacturer, has announced that it has achieved Gold Standard status as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. Presented by Deloitte, Gold Standard is given to companies that have maintained multi-year best-managed status and demonstrated a strong commitment to the program.

The award is designed to celebrate excelled business performance and is open to Canadian owned or managed firms, or those with headquarters in the country. To be eligible, the companies also have a revenue of $50 million or more.

A Gold Standard company

To be recognised by the program, each company must undergo a meticulous process that evaluates its financial performance, strategy planning, development, and execution, as well as its people, innovation, and continuous improvement. In 2022, WhiteWater was one of 31 companies to be awarded Gold Standard status, joining 115 existing honourees, and is the only company from the attractions sector in this exclusive group.

This achievement shows the success of WhiteWater’s corporate strategy. The company is on a mission to provide the best customer experience through global knowledge with local expertise, a regional supply chain, and a one-stop-shop offering of innovative products and services. This includes its water slides, aquatic play and water rides as well as the FlowRider surf machines, Endless Surf surf pools, and the Vantage venue management platform.

“The Gold Standard status recognizes WhiteWater’s consistency in pursuing excellence in all areas of the business, from strategic planning to corporate culture to how we adapt to changing market conditions,” says CEO Geoff Chutter.

“It acknowledges the efforts of the entire organization and serves as an additional testimony for clients who are looking for a strong partner to collaborate with and for talented individuals who are looking for a great place to work.”

Earlier this month, WhiteWater announced that it has appointed an attractions technology veteran, Michael Jungen, as the new president of Vantage Technology Ltd., which is part of WhiteWater’s family of companies.
