Xiao Bao is a Creative Producer and Director in Themed Entertainment and Narrative Placemaking, currently serving on the Board of Directors for Themed Entertainment Association Asia Pacific Division. Since graduating from Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center, Xiao has led and directed the creation of theme park resorts, immersive entertainment, themed exhibitions and many types of location based projects for global destinations, with professional experiences in US, China, Japan and Singapore.
Xiao’s professional projects include: Puy du Fou SAGA City of Light (recently opened in June 2024), LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort ( opening soon in 2025 ), Google Experience Centers in Tokyo and Los Angeles (2020 and 2019). He also supported R&D projects for Walt Disney Imagineering in Glendale (2017) and the Asia tour of immersive exhibitions based on Jurassic World, Avatar and Marvel’s The Avengers (2021).
