Zamperla, a leading ride manufacturer, is exhibiting at IAAPA Expo Europe in London this week, where the team joined forces with the Vendée-based O’Parks group to unveil four new attractions at O’Fun Park in 2027.
In total, the group plans to invest €6 million in 2027. After adopting a full Wild West theme in 2026, O’Fun Park will mark its 25th anniversary in spring 2027 with four new mechanical attractions, including a family rollercoaster – a first for the park.
For the first time in its history, and to mark its 25th anniversary next season, O’Fun Park will welcome a family rollercoaster called Mine Discovery, scheduled to open to the public in May 2027.
New coaster and more
With a track length of 155 metres and a top speed of 26 km/h, the train, comprising eleven carriages, each with two seats, can carry nearly 750 people per hour.
The park will also open three other family-friendly mechanical rides on 3 April 2027.
These include Drift Box, a circuit with eight two-seater cars designed as toolboxes racing around an oval track; Giant Citern, a 6-meter-tall drop tower inspired by Wild West water tanks, where visitors sit before experiencing several vertical drops; and Rodeo Wagon, an attraction with rotations, tilts, and swings for a fun, dynamic experience that families can enjoy together.
“The magic of every ride is that, through theming, it can adapt perfectly to its destination and become part of the park’s identity,” says Enrico Patechi, creative design manager at Zamperla.
O’Fun Park will adopt a hybrid model of active and passive leisure—unmatched in France—merging its tradition of tree-top adventure courses and physical activities with mechanical attractions that appeal to a broader audience.

O’Fun Park is also preparing for its next phase of development with the construction of a station to accommodate a miniature railway, which is due to enter service in 2028. That same year, new attractions are also expected to be added to the park’s offering.

Earlier this month, Zamperla premiered its latest attraction, Hypnosiz, as part of its 60th-anniversary celebrations at the company’s headquarters in Altavilla Vicentina, Italy.
