Zamperla, a leading ride manufacturer, has premiered its latest attraction, Hypnosiz, as part of its 60th-anniversary celebrations at the company’s headquarters in Altavilla Vicentina, Italy.
After six decades of designing and manufacturing rides, Zamperla marked its anniversary by presenting a new attraction designed to serve as a visual landmark within the park and deliver a standout experience for guests.
The unveiling followed a tour of the company's facilities, which gave an international delegation of clients, partners, media, and industry professionals insight into the engineering, manufacturing, creativity, and expertise that drive Zamperla’s attractions.
Evolving Nebulaz
Hypnosiz is the next evolution of the iconic Zamperla bestseller, Nebulaz. The new ride retains the original's distinctive hypnotic movement and its capacity to create interaction between guests, while pushing the concept further with increased capacity, greater scale, a stronger visual presence, and elevated landmark appeal.
Antonio Zamperla, president and CEO of Zamperla, says: "Nebulaz has been a very successful product for us, but what I have always liked about it is that you don’t necessarily have to ride it to enjoy it. You can stand twenty meters away, look at it moving, and still wonder how the gondolas do not hit each other.
"There is something almost hypnotic about that movement.
"With Hypnosiz, we wanted to keep that DNA: the recognizable movement and the interaction between riders, but take it much further. We wanted something bigger, with more capacity, more presence, and much more visual impact."

Hypnosiz reaches 11.4 metres tall and has a 16-metre footprint. The ride accommodates 64 adults, with a maximum theoretical hourly capacity of 650 passengers.
Elegant engineering
Hypnosiz' development was shaped by a central engineering requirement to create a larger, more engaging experience that would streamline the machine’s operation and maintenance.
This demonstrates Zamperla’s approach to innovation, which is not necessarily about adding technology. Rather, the most intelligent solution is sometimes identifying what can be removed while maintaining or enhancing the experience.
A highlight of Hypnosiz is its seat arrangement, with visitors facing one another. As the ride moves, the experience becomes more social and shared. Riders can see the reactions of those around them, and laughter, excitement, and screams become an integral part of the ride.

The new product is designed not only to entertain its riders, but also to engage its spectators. The attraction becomes the visual centrepiece of its surroundings, using movement, scale, and lighting to create a strong visual presence that is particularly captivating at night.
"A good attraction should entertain the people on board," says Zamperla, "but a great attraction can also change the energy of the space around it."
Earlier this year, Zamperla provided three rides to Idefix’ Abenteuerland, a new immersive themed area at Belantis in Germany, inspired by the world of Asterix & Obelix.
