Extreme Engineering, a leading adventure attractions company, will be attending this year's AZA Annual Conference, organised by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The event takes place in Columbus, Ohio, from 9 - 14 September, and the Extreme Engineering team will be showcasing its FLX Shade product at booth #205. This system, which can easily be installed without requiring massive pilings or infrastructure, is also in use at nearby Columbus Zoo.
The firm's innovative, post-installation methods allow the FLX Shade to be an easy addition to any application. It is ideal for animal exhibits, queuing areas and commercial spaces.
FLX rod technology
In comparison to other sail shade systems, the flex rod eliminates the need for bulky hardware and turnbuckles by providing the load tension in the sail shades. The FLX Shade system can handle high wind loads and severe weather. It also uses up to 50% less structure, creating ample shade without blocking the venue's scenery.
The AZA Annual Conference is the leading conference for zoo and aquarium professionals around the world. To book a meeting with the Extreme Engineering team at the show, please click here.
