Voters in Lucas County, Ohio, haveapproved the Toledo Zoo's levy renewal. The zoo says voters are actually going to pay less for the zoo's 5 year operating levy. The result was clear cut, with73% approval.
Executive director of Toledo Zoo Jeff Sailer explains, "We couldn't be the zoo we are today without Lucas County voters. We don't take that for granted. We have nothing but gratitude for the last 30 years of support."
