Themed environments that evoke the Yucatan Peninsula include wetlands, Mayan ruins, coastal lagoons and coral reefs.
The H-E-B Caribbean Shark Exhibit includes a 118ft underwater tunnel – the longest in North America.
A multi-sensory 4D theatre will recreate the sounds, smells and sights of the ocean in a state-of-the-art auditorium.
Aside from the underwater creatures, the exhibit will also be home to a wide variety of fauna including birds, crocodiles, iguanas and even bats.
