Mark Fisher

A graduate in Recreation Management, Fisher joined The Tussauds Group in 1991 and Merlin in 1995. He played a key role in the original management buyout team from Vardon and has been a senior member of the business throughout the significant period of growth that followed.

As chief development officer, he heads up Merlin’s creative arm, Merlin Magic Making. Working alongside the company’s three operating groups, LEGOLAND Parks, Resort Theme Parks and Midway Attractions, he brings together site search and property development, creative development and production, and project management. If Nick Varney is the architect of Merlin’s business model, then Mark Fisher, or ‘Fish’, has been one of its key builders.
