DOF Robotics has created new game Angry Birds Red in partnership with the much-loved franchise

Rovio Entertainment Corporation, a Finnish mobile-first gaming company and creator of the Angry Birds brand, and DOF Robotics, a producer of dynamic simulation platforms, have revealed details of a new Angry Birds game.

The game has been developed in a collaboration between DOF Robotics and the iconic Angry Birds franchise. This agreement has been arranged by IMG, the worldwide licencing company for Angry Birds.

Through this strategic partnership, the two entertainment heavyweights will work together to produce a unique experience that will excite both new and old fans. The combination of the legendary Angry Birds universe with state-of-the-art technology from DOF Robotics guarantees an amazing experience for gamers of all ages.

Angry Birds Red is a single-player game that lets fans enter the game as well as play it. With its 3DOF Active Motion Platform, dynamic sound, vibration, blast effects, and breathtaking 4K 60 fps resolution, the Angry Birds Red simulator immerses players in the action.

Angry Birds has proven its enduring appeal, with over five billion mobile game downloads, more than 25 million social media followers, and 96% brand awareness.

The Angry Birds brand, which began as a successful mobile game in 2009, has now grown into an internationally recognised media franchise, covering numerous types of entertainment such as consumer products, films, a long-form Netflix series, and location-based entertainment (LBE).

As demonstrated by the success of the recently opened Angry Birds-themed retail café in New York, the lively and entertaining world of Angry Birds is well suited to LBE. Rovio has also collaborated with Immersive Gamebox and Attraktion! to provide fans around the world with interactive, real-life adaptations of the game.

New attractions

DOF Robotics also showcased Monster Jam Grave Digger Ice at the IAAPA Expo 2023. This game brings together the thrill of monster truck rallies with the chilling fascination of an icy adventure.

In addition, the company revealed that it is preparing to once again transform the amusement sector with the release of Hurricane VR 360, a captivating and exhilarating adventure that will dramatically shift how audiences experience virtual reality.

Attendees at IAAPA Expo 2023 were among the first to enjoy these immersive adventures.

Earlier this year, DOF Robotics was awarded an IAAPA Brass Ring Award for Best Exhibit at IAAPA Expo Asia 2023. The prize-winning booth showcased new products, such as the upgraded Hurricane VR 360 attraction, in addition to live demonstrations of DOF Robotics’ range of entertainment experiences. The company also launched the VR movie Homeland: Rise of Nomads at the Expo.
