London tea brand Whittard of Chelsea is partnering with the Empire State Building's State Grill & Bar to launch a Bridgerton-themed English afternoon tea.
Running from 20 January through 13 February, the F&B experience will celebrate the upcoming fourth season of Bridgerton, which debuts on Netflix on 29 January.
Located within the State Grill & Bar, the attraction is described as a regal culinary experience. It is available to all visitors, or as an add-on to Empire State Building Observatory tickets.

Priced at $60 per person and curated by executive chef Morgan Jarrett, the menu reimagines British classics.
It includes sandwiches such as coronation chicken salad and truffled local king mushroom, as well as freshly baked scones and pastries.
Each course is paired with a selection of Whittard of Chelsea’s signature teas, including English Rose, Earl Grey, and Chelsea Breakfast.
Guests can also enjoy a curated list of cocktails and Champagnes, including a rose-petal gin and English rose tea tonic.
Immersive F&B trend
Via a press release, the collaboration between Whittard of Chelsea and the Empire State Building comes as interest in British culture and afternoon tea experiences grows in the US.
For example, US search interest for "afternoon tea" has increased by nearly 80 percent since 2022 (SevenRooms, 2024).
In the attractions industry, brand experiences and themed F&B are growing trends.
Last week, Netflix has opened its second Netflix House venue in Texas. The entertainment destination is designed to immerse guests in their favourite Netflix brands, from Stranger Things to Bridgerton.
