D-Tex Visual, a company that focuses on the development of AI sensors for safety and maintenance purposes within the theme park industry, has drawn on lessons from beyond the sector to develop a series of monitoring solutions that enhance preventive maintenance, early warning, and data collection.
These include the G2i, the G2iX, the G2T, and the G2R, which together make the most powerful condition monitoring solution available for the themed environment.
Applications include monitoring safety restraints and coaster car and/or track elements, as well as unparalleled maintenance insight.
"From the early days of developing the Bolt-iT AI sensor, we have continued to push the capabilities of our patented technology in various fields," says Lee Hollinshead, founder, D-Tex Visual.
"Although what we do is very new to the theme park industry, it has been more readily accepted in industry, allowing us to create a complementary range of Bolt-iT variants."
Comprehensive range

The most recent addition to the lineup is the G2iX, which can extract an unprecedented amount of data from D-Tex Visual's newly developed coded field technique.
The sensor offers a level of detail never before seen on components such as coaster restraints, using 3D plotting and extracted data such as angle, standoff, runout, and wobble for every rotational cycle.
This makes it possible to visualise the part's actual path in real-time and identify every tilt and bump while it operates, even on fast-moving parts.
In addition to safety implications, this also provides significant insights to support maintenance.
This model offers double the processing power of the compact G2i, which accurately measures belt RPM and reports anomalies using multi-layered sensing and edge AI while running power and data over the industry-standard CAN network.
Also in the series is the G2T, a battery-powered transmitter that works with the CAN-powered receiver, the G2R. Together, these components continually transmit data from multiple internal detectors across air gaps, where cabling is impossible because of difficult-to-access, fast-moving parts.
The G2R also offers the same built-in monitoring as the smaller G2i, and can also receive data from the self-contained Bolt-iT sensor.
This range offers a unified solution that can be rapidly deployed for almost any application.
Reflecting this versatility, D-Tex Visual is now offering its products and expertise for licensing or acquisition to key companies in strategic sectors, including theme parks.
