DOF Robotics, an award-winning producer of immersive simulation attractions, robotic systems, games, and CGI content, will showcase SphereFly for the first time at IAAPA Expo Europe 2026 at ExCeL London from 22 - 24 September.

The company will also highlight its growing portfolio of intellectual properties, including The Smurfs, give an exclusive preview of a new collaboration with Transformers, and present the official launch of NeoCappadocia, a flagship project of Neo Planet, DOF Robotics' experience-economy brand.

Additionally, the event will show how DOF Studio is transforming owned and licensed IPs into unique immersive experiences, marking a significant moment as DOF Robotics prepares to host TEA, organised by the Themed Entertainment Association.

Discover SphereFly and more in London

SphereFly redefines possibilities in small spaces traditionally unsuitable for large-scale immersive experiences.

Guests sit in a suspended arrangement facing a curved screen, where synchronised 6-DOF motion combined with multisensory effects like wind, water mist, and scent creates an immersive flight adventure.

Spanning only 90 square meters, the platform accommodates 4 to 20 riders per session and can serve over 200 visitors hourly. This compact setup enables shopping malls, family entertainment centres, and tourism sites to offer the thrill of flight.

Alongside its technology showcase, DOF Robotics highlights its growing array of intellectual property collaborations, including a rescue adventure where guests can join a few brave Smurfs on a daring mission to escape Gargamel and return safely to their village.

This integrates DOF Robotics' motion technology with beloved characters to entertain families and visitors of all ages.

IAAPA Expo Europe 2026 provides visitors with a first look at DOF Robotics' most ambitious collaboration yet: Transformers. Although DOF Robotics will unveil the full experience at IAAPA Expo Orlando later this year, it is using its London appearance to highlight this exciting partnership and offer an early glimpse of what's ahead.

DOF Studio, the in-house content division of DOF Robotics, transforms original concepts and licensed IP into immersive ride experiences, leveraging cinematic storytelling alongside DOF's motion and simulation technologies.

DOF Robotics says its core philosophy is not just to create rides, but to engineer emotions. As the content pipeline grows, DOF Studio continues to drive the creative development of the company's expanding universe of entertainment, producing both new IP-driven and original titles across various simulators and theatres.

Neo Planet and NeoCappadocia

IAAPA Expo Europe 2026 will also be the official unveiling of NeoCappadocia, the flagship project of Neo Planet, a new experience economy brand launched by DOF Robotics. Through Neo Planet, DOF Robotics is expanding from simply providing technology to developing and managing destinations, creating next-generation immersive venues that it will own and operate.

NeoCappadocia aims to transform one of the world's most iconic landscapes into a year-round immersive destination.

Located in Avanos, within a 5,000-square-meter indoor facility in central Cappadocia, the project features a Fly Over Cappadocia-themed flying theatre, a hot air balloon simulator, a fully themed restaurant, boutique accommodations, and live shows.

It is designed to attract over 500,000 visitors annually and operate year-round. With a $20 million investment, the project is expected to be completed by 2027.

To realise this vision, DOF Robotics collaborated with Katapult, the international guest experience design agency.

Katapult partnered with DOF Robotics to transform advanced motion and sensory hardware into a seamless, story-driven guest journey. Their approach combined attraction technology with narrative world-building, aiming to craft a destination that attracts both regional visitors and international travellers.

NeoCappadocia marks the initial phase of a larger vision. DOF Robotics aims to develop similar experience destinations in Istanbul and Antalya, positioning Turkiye as a worldwide centre for experience, technology, and innovation tourism. DOF Robotics will release details on upcoming milestones and design updates during 2026 and 2027 as construction advances.

Building on the first-ever Turkish edition of TEA Tuesday, hosted by DOF Robotics in Istanbul on 2 June 2026, the Themed Entertainment Association is now bringing TEA Explores to the city, taking place from 15 to 16 October 2026, with DOF Robotics serving as the main sponsor and host.
