Dubai Parks and Resorts, Global Village remain closed as safety measure

Visitor attractions in Dubai closed due to conflict in Middle East

Dubai Parks and Resorts has announced that it will remain closed today and tomorrow, 3 and 4 March, as a precautionary safety measure.
As fighting in the Middle East continues, Dubai Parks and Resorts said the decision to remain closed was a "precautionary safety measure in line with official guidance".
The integrated leisure and entertainment destination is managed by Dubai Holding Entertainment and home to three theme parks – Motiongate Dubai, Real Madrid World, and Legoland Dubai.
Additional attractions at Dubai Parks & Resorts are Legoland Water Park, The World of Riverland, and the Lapita Hotel.
Visitors are advised to check the official website or Instagram page regularly for the latest information on reopening.
Dubai Holding Entertainment's Global Village, a seasonal cultural and entertainment festival, also remains closed today "as a precautionary safety measure in line with official guidance".

The closure comes after Israel and the US launched an attack against Iran on Saturday (28 February).

Iran responded by firing ballistic missiles and drones at US facilities and allies across the Middle East, targeting Israel, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan and the UAE.

Some of the UAE's most iconic buildings have been damaged, including the Burj Al Arab hotel. Dubai International Airport has also been hit, as well as Abu Dhabi's Zayed International Airport.

Abu Dhabi parks remain open

There are no official reports that Abu Dhabi's theme parks have been closed due to the conflict. These include Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World and SeaWorld,
