The Association of Science and Technology Centers' (ASTC) 2022 Annual Conference is one of the premier annual events for science engagement professionals, leaders in science and technology centres and museums as well as allied organisations across North America and around the world.
Each year, the ASTC Annual Conference brings together thousands of professionals working in science communications, STEM learning and the broader intersections between science, technology and society.
After two years of virtual conferences, ASTC 2022 will be an in-person event, focusing on interactive sessions and events to maximise the ability to be safely together in the same physical space.
The conference includes concurrent sessions, plenary sessions, posters, exhibit hall, networking, social events, museum experiences and more. The theme for ASTC 2022 is Traversing Tomorrow Together.
The conference will be held 12-15 September 2022 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The city has reinvented itself as a hub for science, technology, creativity and culture. The conference will be co-hosted by the Carnegie Science Centre, and the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh and its MuseumLab.
