Fantawild Holdings Inc., a leading one-stop solution provider in the theme park industry, explores the ancient city of Yin-Shang’s three thousand years of history at Yinshang Legend in Anyang, Henan Province.

Yinshang Legend celebrates Chinese culture and pays homage to the ancient Yin-Shang civilisation with immersive experiences.

The project aims to create a unique combination of "cultural relic tourism" using landmarks in Anyang such as the Yinxu World Heritage Site and the Chinese Character Museum, offering visitors a culturally focused leisure experience spanning 3,000 years.

A new engine for cultural tourism in Northern Henan

The Yin-Shang period, dating back 3,300 years, is renowned for its bronze artefacts, oracle bone script, and rich traditions. This era laid the foundation for modern Chinese civilisation.

To deepen appreciation and innovation within Shang culture, Fantawild leverages its strengths in cultural tourism, focusing on the Yinshang IP and maintaining strong ties to the cultural heritage of Anyang city.

The company explores historical-cultural elements and, by integrating the popular Boonie Bears animation IP, has developed seven immersive themed zones, constructed eleven high-tech indoor attractions, twenty-seven outdoor attractions, and numerous Shang-style landscape features.

This design transforms the 3,000-year-old Yin-Shang civilisation into an engaging cultural experience.

The new Fantawild park seamlessly blends cultural relic appreciation, tech-driven interactivity, themed shopping, and night performances. Using immersive storytelling and cutting-edge technology, it brings Yin-Shang to life, reanimating a dynasty often lost in history books and oracle bones.

Visitors are invited to explore the Shang civilisation in an immersive setting. With its distinctive Yin-Shang theme, scale, and attractions, this park aims to boost the development of Henan Province's cultural tourism sector.

Key attractions

One of the main themed attractions at Yinshang Legend is the indoor 4D ride, Investiture of the Gods, which brings to life epic battles between gods and demons, alongside Jiang Ziya.

Meanwhile, the theatre show, I-Ching Legend, takes the concepts of the Book of Changes and transforms them into a stage performance with programmable spheres, showcasing the challenges faced by King Wen of Zhou as he deciphered the Eight Trigrams.

The indoor holographic experience, Legendary Theater, features humanoid robots, laser time tunnels, live acts, and massive screens for a panorama of the Great Shang Dynasty, with oracle bone characters like stars across the sky.

In the AR theatre, Museum Mayhem, visitors of all ages can chase cultural relics “on the run".

Early visitor Mr Zeng from Zhengzhou says: "The immersion here is incredible. Using tech to explore the history of Yin-Shang is something you can't find anywhere else. I have my heart set on trying every attraction in the park."

In the Boonie Bears themed zone, attractions like Boonie Bears Adventure, Shrink & Splash, and Boonie Cubs World provide family-friendly fun, while outdoor rides like Dragon River Rapids, The Unrivaled Pendulum, and Tribal Twist attract thrill-seeking visitors.

To accommodate peak summer crowds, the park has organised a 40-day opening carnival, featuring popular internet personality Tian Yang for a 44-day residency and offering an interactive experience that spans both day and night.

During the day, Yin-Shang-themed NPCs engage with guests throughout the park, with ancient-style parades and situational performances happening in scheduled succession. Other characters from Investiture of the Gods, including Yang Jian, Fu Hao, and Wu Ding, are present for visitor interaction.

At night, there are large-scale live shows, mecha parades, and light displays, with 2,000 drones moving as one to illustrate tableaus like "Fu Hao Leading the Troops to Battle" and "The Great Battle of Investiture of the Gods".

The park offers a range of dishes and local snacks from across the country, including popular chains. At Boonie Bears Shop and Boonie Bears Bungalow, guests can browse official Fantawild merchandise, cultural products, and local Anyang goods.

The Oracle Bone Post Office Cultural and Creative Shop and the Oracle Bone Photo Studio offer ancient-style themed experiences, family photography, cultural product collections, and other leisure activities.

"At Anyang Yinshang Legend, whether you're planning an educational trip, a relaxed family getaway, or a thrilling day out with friends and relatives, you can dive into a first-of-its-kind cultural tourism experience," says Fantawild.

"The park is more than the new kid in Anyang's cultural tourism scene; it's also a daring effort to bring historic culture to life while looking ahead to the future."

Last year, Fantawild launched Boonie Bears Land in Huai’an. This represents a key milestone in the city’s cultural tourism growth and Fantawild’s ongoing expansion within the entertainment and attraction sector.
