Gateway Ticketing Systems, a leading provider of admission control systems, has deployed its Galaxy platform at Montréal Science Centre, situated on the Old Port of Montréal’s territory.
This implementation brings a fully connected ticketing and admissions ecosystem to one of Canada’s most visited science attractions, strengthening operations, supporting long-term growth, and elevating the visitor experience.

Streamlined, seamless experience
Montréal Science Centre previously relied on a highly manual legacy system that no longer supported its operational scale or digital expectations. By adopting Galaxy, it now operates on a centralised platform that simplifies online management and workflows, delivering a smooth experience for both staff and guests.
Cybèle Robichaud, director of the Montréal Science Centre, says: "The Galaxy platform enables us to deliver a more seamless and efficient visitor experience while modernizing our operations.
"This transition is an important step in supporting the continued growth of the Montréal Science Centre, while staying aligned with our mission and priorities."
With this implementation, the science centre's platform also aligns with that of its sister attraction, the CN Tower, which has been using Galaxy since 2006.
By using a common platform, the two organisations can standardise best practices and boost operational consistency and collaboration across POS, auditing, IT, finance, and event management.
The project is already delivering benefits for guests, including a quicker, more intuitive online purchasing experience that makes planning a visit easier. As online sales continue to grow, the Montréal Science Centre is ideally placed to meet guests' evolving digital expectations and further improve the on-site experience.
Michael Andre, president and CEO of Gateway Ticketing Systems, says: "This project is a strong example of how integrated technology can support both operational excellence and exceptional guest experiences.
"The Montréal Science Centre is an important part of the Old Port of Montréal, and we are proud to support their team with a platform that modernizes operations behind the scenes while elevating the visitor experience."
Situated within the historic Old Port of Montréal, the Montréal Science Centre's combination of education, innovation, and accessibility is now supported by a cutting-edge technology foundation designed to serve visitors today and into the future.
Last month, Gateway Ticketing Systems announced two new appointments. Eric Fluet took on the role of vice president of marketing on 23 February, and Chad Wallace became the new director of sales on 2 March.
