Hasbro opens world's first Monopoly Steakhouse in Mexico

Gastronomic concept inspired by the world’s favourite board game

Timeless Brands and Hasbro have opened the world's first Monopoly Steakhouse in Mexico, a new gastronomic concept inspired by the world’s favourite board game.

Located in San Pedro Garza García, the new restaurant offers a high-end culinary experience complemented by the luxurious aesthetic of the Monopoly universe.


The steakhouse, which opened on 8 May, is the result of a licensing agreement between Timeless Brands and Hasbro that aims to set a new benchmark for premium licensed dining experiences.

"Monopoly is one of the most recognisable and celebrated brands in the world, and Monopoly Steakhouse is a great example of how we’re expanding the experience beyond the board," said Matt Proulx, senior vice president of global experiences, partnerships, and music at Hasbro.

"Together with Timeless Brands, we’ve created something that feels both unexpected and instantly familiar – a destination where fans can step into the world of Monopoly, enjoy an exceptional meal, and make lasting memories."

Every detail of the new venue has been created in collaboration with the Hasbro global experiences team to "immerse guests in an environment of whimsical sophistication, with thoughtful touches from the game".

The menu, crafted by chefs specialising in prime cuts and contemporary international cuisine, offers a premium dining experience with 15 starters, 10 main courses, seven sides, six desserts, and 15 signature cocktails.

The experience also features a live music bar and a retail boutique offering official Monopoly merchandise.

"Monopoly Steakhouse is not just a restaurant; it’s an experience where luxury and nostalgia meet," said Adrián J Romero, CEO of Timeless Brands.

"We aim to reinterpret the classic steakhouse with a contemporary approach – focused on excellence in food, mixology, and service – within an atmosphere that celebrates the legacy of the world’s most famous board game."

Hasbro is expanding its experiential entertainment portfolio across Latin America and Asia with a range of immersive attractions designed to bring its brands to life through interactive play.

In Brazil and Mexico, new experiences include a permanent Transformers attraction in Gramado, Monopoly Experience: Treasures of Brazil in São Paulo, and the Monopoly Lifesized touring edition in Mexico City.

In China, Hasbro is launching Dreamland Powered by Hasbro, a multi-brand family entertainment destination featuring a range of family-friendly activities across Hasbro brands, including Transformers, Peppa Pig, and My Little Pony.
