Attraction provides an optimal immersive experience using 4D effects and PC-streaming technology

DIVR Labs, a leading designer of virtual worlds and free-roam 4D VR arenas, has announced that it will present its new free-roam Pop-up Arena at MAPIC later this month.

MAPIC, a leading international retail property market event, is taking place from 28 – 30 November in Cannes, France. Delegates will be able to experience DIVR Labs’ new location-based entertainment offering at stand P1.J54.

The show will welcome more than 6,000 delegates, 1,800 retailers, and 250 speakers from the property, food, leisure, and retail sectors who will gather to develop dynamic retail and urban destinations.

Proven franchise turnkey solution

DIVR Labs was founded in 2016 in Prague and creates ground-breaking location-based VR solutions. It now showcases its 4D free-roam virtual reality experiences at a 330 square metre venue at Westfield London.

The Pop-Up VR Arena is a groundbreaking attraction for entertainment centres and shopping malls. The self-supported enclosure, measuring 70 square metres, has a capacity of up to 24 people per hour. It provides an optimal immersive experience using 4D effects and PC-streaming technology. In addition, installation takes just days and does not require any building or electrical work.

The company has a portfolio of five standalone VR games that have been enjoyed by over 200,000 visitors in London, Prague, and Stockholm. These games are intended for a wide range of ages, from children to adults, and provide a one-of-a-kind experience.

Users can move freely in the arenas, which provides a level of immersion unrivalled by at-home VR experiences. 4D effects such as wind, heat, vibration, and haptics enhance the experience.

DIVR Labs distinguishes itself in the market with its high throughput, PC-quality VR adventures, and innovative technologies. The company’s concept is tested and profit-generating, with inexpensive maintenance costs and a simple operating model, which makes it a compelling offer for franchise partners.
