Grande Experiences presents Las Vegas Grand Prix

The event was presented in a world-first format and showcased the venue’s versatility

Grande Experiences, a leading global arts and culture immersive experience company, has aired the debut Las Vegas Grand Prix at its flagship venue, THE LUME Melbourne.

This broadcast, in a world-first format, was presented to 300 VIP guests in an event which combined Vegas glitz, glamour and racing.

Bruce Peterson, founder and CEO of Grande Experiences, says: “Grande and THE LUME broke new ground once again on Sunday, with an epic live stream of the Las Vegas Grand Prix into THE LUME Melbourne, creating a brand new hospitality experience. Together with the stunning ganbu marra runway show, for Melbourne Fashion Week, these two breathtaking events demonstrate our flexibility across arts, culture and sports.”

Versatile venue

THE LUME Melbourne is one of Melbourne’s most popular and well-known cultural attractions. It is the world’s largest permanent immersive digital art and culture facility. The venue offers a changing selection of cultural events and also serves as a distinctive event space.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix screening followed the ganbu marra runway show, which was hosted at THE LUME for Melbourne Fashion Week at the end of October.

Grande Experiences’ flagship location was transformed into a kaleidoscope of colour as Australian First Nations designers and artisans showcased their work. The event was set within Connection – a spectacular immersive art experience from the world’s oldest living culture.

These two extremely different events demonstrate THE LUME’s adaptability as an events venue, which extends beyond art, to culture and athletics and provides opportunities for international partnerships and sponsorships.

Grande Experiences recently celebrated the opening of Monet & Friends Alive at ICONSIAM in Bangkok, in the biggest presentation of Monet & Friends Alive in Southeast Asia. This exhibition uses 3,500 images to present Impressionist art from the 19th century and follows the success of Van Gogh Alive which was exhibited at ICONSIAM from March to September.
