Meow Wolf is expanding across the US, but it continues to enhance its original exhibition in Santa Fe, the House of Eternal Return.
The immersive art collective has introduced a new installation called ‘Necro Techno Flesh Complex’ by artist Jess Johnson.
An immersive multimedia room, Necro Techno Flesh Complex is a fusion of 2D drawings, 3D physical environments and digital animations.

The installation is a sensory experience that puts visitors in “a reality loop that blurs the lines between imagination and reality”, Meow Wolf said in a press release.
“We are continually adding new installations to discover so every guest can have a unique experience each time they visit,” said Susan Garbett, general manager of Meow Wolf Santa Fe.
“Necro Techno Flesh Complex is a 360-degree journey into the imagination of a highly disciplined and fascinating artist.”
The House of Eternal Return opened in 2016. It features more than 70 immersive rooms created by local and community artists, as well as the Meow Wolf team.

“Visiting Meow Wolf mostly felt like I was time traveling – going back to being a child,” said Johnson. “It was a strange type of interaction, as I wasn’t really in the moment, but instead imagining how I would respond to the experience as a kid.”
In more news, Meow Wolf has announced a surreal dive bar in the afterlife called Cowboix Hevvven for its fifth permanent installation in Houston, Texas.
Located in the Fifth Ward, the new exhibition is due to open this year. It will be followed by Meow Wolf’s sixth permanent exhibition, which launches in Los Angeles in 2026.
