Immotion, a global leader in immersive edutainment, has revealed plans to exhibit at the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) Annual Conference 2025, which is being held from 26 to 30 October in Cali, Colombia.
This year's conference will be hosted by Fundación Zoológica de Cali, also known as Cali Zoo, and marks both the 90th anniversary of WAZA and the 80th anniversary of its annual conference.
Delegates are invited to visit the Immotion team at booth #8 to explore how immersive VR is transforming visitor interactions with wildlife globally and immersing them in live-action conservation stories.
Fostering collaborations in Latin America
Immotion has more than 135 partners across the world, and continues to expand its presence. Recently, the company collaborated with Mandai Wildlife Group in Singapore to install 'Wild Explorer' attractions at Bird Paradise and Night Safari.
These projects underscore Immotion’s increasing role in supporting leading institutions that blend education, entertainment, and conservation.
Rod Findley, CEO of Immotion, says: "Partnering with Mandai Wildlife Group represents a shared commitment to connecting people with nature in meaningful ways. Our VR experiences transport guests into the heart of wildlife environments, helping them see and feel the importance of protecting the natural world."
WAZA 2025 will bring together conservation and zoological leaders from around the world. Immotion is enthusiastic to participate in this year’s conference in Colombia, reinforcing its commitment to building relationships and collaborations within the Latin American region.
"LATAM is a key focus for our next phase of growth. We’re looking forward to connecting with regional partners who share our passion for conservation and innovation," says Findley.
From Monday, 27 October, attendees are invited to visit Immotion at booth #8 and learn how the company’s immersive storytelling attractions can boost visitor engagement, enhance educational programmes, and foster a deeper connection to wildlife.
Immotion recently participated in the European Union of Aquarium Curators (EUAC) Conference 2025 in Istanbul. This featured a presentation led by Findley, with a session titled Educational Technology’s Role in the Future of Aquariums: Opportunity or Existential Threat?
